Managing staff turnover
The biggest worry for most businesses, according to a recent NZ survey, is their ability to retain key staff. Yet most staff leave not because of financial rewards, the factor least easy to address, but because of the way they are managed.
Common causes of the decision to leave;
Conversely very low staff turnover may mean that you are not addressing poor performance. New staff bring new ideas - so some staff turnover is adaptive.
